When: June 3rd and 4th 2017 12pm to 6pm
For one weekend, Greenpoint artists and designers open up their studios to the public to showcase work in a wide range of mediums. From paintings, sculptures, film, photography, weaving/textiles, ceramics, and more, there are seasoned artists to be visited and emerging artists to be discovered in the northernmost tip of Brooklyn.
Come visit the gallery to see the exhibition of the sculptures of Susan Pullman Brooks, Sacred Luminosity: Goddesses of the Vedic and Celtic Pantheons. The Open Studios will feature the artist at Gallery AWA.
Sacred Luminosity seeks to examine the divine feminine energy that was once an integral part of ancient belief systems, and to reassess and re-imagine this energy in the modern day. Gallery AWA is delighted to host this remarkable work and invites the public to attend our opening reception, lecture and panel discussion. Please visit again for more details in the upcoming weeks and more postings on Susan Pullman Brooks's work. You can also find her work in the exhibition section of our website.
